Installation + Setup (customer provides kit)

- Prices below are for installation and setup only.
- On request I can provide equipment but it costs more and takes longer to organise.
- I provide installation materials
- I will do setup with you so you know how to do it should you have to do it again.
- All RING devices need WiFi signal strength of at least 70%
- RING bell requires 3Mbps of upload speed and cameras 5Mbps. (They all add up).
 


 

   RING door bell (battery operated only) = £85
  Wired but replacing existing working doorbell. = £100
  Wired  = £135


 

  RING POWER PACK = £135  (includes power supply and cables).

Allows your RING bell to be continuously charged from power source.

Note: As charging is slower process than "discharging" while RING's camera is in operation there is some small possibility that on devices that are in constant use battery goes flat despite being wired in to charger.


 

 RING INTERCOM MODULE = £85

Device that allows to answer your intercom from your RING enabled mobile phone. It is wired next to you door intercom handset.


 

 - RING internal camera (battery operated only) = £85


 

 - RING camera (battery operated only) = £85
- RING camera wired = £135  (if replacing existing working light)
- RING camera wired = £185  (if power needs to be run to camera)
  // source of power must be  within 10 meters from camera //
 


 		 - Flood light/camera (wired) = £135 (if replacing existing light)
- Flood light/camera (wired) = £185 (if power needs to be run to device)

 There must be source of mains (240V) power within
10 meters (30 feet) from where this device is to be situated.

- RING chime = £85

It allows for RING doorbell to function as standard door bell.
Can be useful if you have many tenants in property but not
necessarily want each of them to have RING app installed
on their phones.
   
   

 

Conditions :

- Prices listed are for installation and setup only,
- All installation materials are included in price,
- Any cables will be on-surface fitted (usually clipped to skirting boards),
- Any devices will be fitted at Max height of 3 meters.
- For wired installations it is assumed here that nearest power source is within
  10 meters from device.
- Re-decoration, should one be necessary, is not included as part of this service.
  Generally there is very little to none damage to property.

Installation check list:
You will need :
- WiFi router with stable internet connection,
- All devices need strong WiFi signal of at least 70%
- Upload speed at least 3Mbps for door bell and 5Mbps for camera (they all add up)
- WiFi password and routers  ID name,
- Ring devices should be no further than 6m from WiFi router,
- Your phone must  support barcode scanning (most of them do).


Final note :
 RING system is cloud based internet service. And as such all communications and it's functions depend on speed and quality of internet connection between RING devices and RING servers.
Last one is changing constantly so it is inevitable that at times you may experience delays or even periods when it is not available. It is true for any "smart" products on the market.
